About Me

My photo
Hello. I'm currently a high school student living in southern California. I'm not one to talk much about myself. I'll leave it to you to figure me out. Don't ask me though, I'm afraid even I don't know myself all that well yet.

    The CSTs Day 3

Here I am, at the end of the day, typing this post in computer class, like I usually do. But wait, you may ask, don't I usually post near lunchtime. And why is computer class last? Well the CSTs play a big part in schedules and for today, Thursday, Friday, and some of next week, all the schedules are mixed up. For what i can say off the top of my head right now, today and Thursday, periods 4 (when my Computer(Elective)/PE) and 5 (social studies/Science) switch. Periods 2, 3, and 5 are longer and on all the CST testing days, there is no first period. Crazy i know.

Now on the Math CSTs (today and Thursday), the questions were easy. I just had to guess on one of them, and skip and go back to like 3 problems. Pretty easy. But we were just doing linear problems. Thursday, we do quadratic problems. joy. I don't want to type anymore, so I'll end here.

    Parentals and Random Questions

I'm going to start off with this. Sometimes, I think my parents are finding ways to stump my childhood, grow me faster, and have me out of their lives. Now I did say sometimes. But tomorrow, or whenever they're not gonna be here soon, they're gonna have a schedule for me. Absolutely no free time. "In bed by 8"? I don't think so. But now that I think about it, sitting here, drinking a smoothie that my mom made, typing on the computer that my dad payed for, sometimes, they're not that bad.

On a side note, earlier today, I began asking random questions today in Social Studies like "Why is it called a boxing ring, if it's square?" or "What would you do if you were a salt shaker?" They were totally random I know, but if you would, comment this post, leaving a random question you've come across.

    The CSTs Day 2

So today's Friday. Thank God. Even though we've only had these past two days of testing, I'm still really drained.

Today was the second and final part of the English CSTs. It was really weird because of the way the answers were done. Like how three of the answers in a row was a specifice answer. (Like the answer was X for three questions) or how in one column, there was none of this one answer (no question had Z as an answer). But I felt a little better once I started talking to my friends. Turned out the same thing happened to them. Phew. Next week, we have the Math CSTs, ugh. I'm a little afraid of the History CSTs, though. I accidentally flipped ahead and I saw a question. And I freaked. I mean why the hell does anyone need to know who was pharoh or king of Egypt in 420 BC? I mean c'mon!!!

    The CSTs Day 1

So today is the first day of CST testing. woo. That means that the schedules are all mixed up and classes are longer than usual. These first of CST testing is for English, then Math. For eighth graders (which I am one of) we have 4 extra days, 2 for history (ick) and 2 for science (more ick).

So last period was my English class. 2 hours and 41 questions of English CST testing. My head started hurting after the first 5 questions. To put it simply, it was a piece of stale cake. It was hard but sorta easy. I am now in my math class, typing this post and trying to find some anime to watch. Next to me is my friends Nicole playing
Music in Motion. Oh wait, she just stopped. Never mind. Anyways, it's a fun game and if you like fun and techno music, its the game for you. Until next time, ja ne.

    Nerdiness vs Otakuness Pt 2

So I said I as going to post up an Otakuness side to this, and here it is. Lets start!

    1. My fuel for learning Japanese is because of anime.

    2. I read manga and light novels.

    3. I know what a light novel is.

    4. My mp3 player is mostly filled up with songs relating to Japan.

    5. I watch too much anime that I have a MyAnimeList account.

    6. I prefer subs over dubs.

    7. I go on imageboards.

    8. I can type Japanese on my computer.

    9. I actually have a Doujin Soft game.

    10. I have a Kon sweatband and a very hated Yugioh wallet.

    11. There's nver a day where I don't talk about something Japanese.

There's probably more, b ut I'll leave it at that. Until then, Ja ne.

    DJ Sharpnel

I've heard of this, or should I say these, guys before, but I never knew how awesome they were. A duo that makes trance, speedcore, happy hardcore, and gabber, among other things, DJ Sharpnel is purely awesome.

Their music is partly made up of outside clips/sources. For example, the song "SOUNDS OF SOS" has clips from The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (oh yeah!!!) and it's ending song, Hare Hare Yukai. In another song, Powerpuff Gabberz, I think the song name is, obviously has clips from the Powerpuff Girls.

I just created a Project Playlist account so here's a DJ Sharpnel playlist:

    data="http://www.myplaylist.org/mc/mp3player-othersite.swf?config=http://www.myplaylist.org/mc/config/config_black.xml&mywidth=435&myheight=270&playlist_url=http://www.myplaylist.org/loadplaylist.php?playlist=31900445">

    value="http://www.myplaylist.org/mc/mp3player-othersite.swf?config=http://www.myplaylist.org/mc/config/config_black.xml&mywidth=435&myheight=270&playlist_url=http://www.myplaylist.org/loadplaylist.php?playlist=31900445">

Since Project Playlist doesn't have a lot of DJ Sharpnel, these were the ones that I chose. Enjoy :)

    Nerdiness vs. Otakuness Pt. 1

I just thought about this post just now, and I thought I'd share with you people/person(s) who actually read this blog.

So first off, nerdiness. Ooooh, where to begin.

    1. Well, I am a seminerd.

    2. I actually try to get good grades even though I never study and I procrastinate and do it all last minute.

    3. I hang out with preps.

    4. I spend most of my time infront of a screen: TV, computer, etc.

    5. I freak about video games.

    6. I freak about anything that I like (eg Just earlier, I called my mom so she could borrow Juno...

*Newsbraek: I am not going to watch Juno, 'cuz my lil bro wants Alvin and the Chipmunks. To be honest, I'm a little pissed. My bro always gets treated better than I am but w/e. I mean I've already seen Juno, and since the Chipmunks are like PG, I guess it be okay. I did try to sound a disappointed as possible, though*

...and while the phone was ringing, I was hopping around in a circle, going "kya, kya, kya, kya, kya..."

    7. I obsess a little too much.

    8. I'm also friends with other nerds.

Uhm, that's all I can think about right now, so wait for "Otakuness" soon.

    TGIF!!!!

Today is finally Friday, thank GOD!!!!! I'm so tired. I'm still sick, I spent most of my time on that English project, and soccer during PE is exhausting, especially since i got hit in the jaw and neck with the ball XP. The after-school dance was tiring too. Y'know being in a moshpit...isn't all that great.

But, I'm getting better, the English project went along swimmingly (but we decided not to show the ending credits for personal reasons). Ugh...I want to get better!!! Oh, I finally got all of the characters in Brawl, awesome! Now to complete the achievements and try to get 90% on SSE. Woo. So, I guess that all I have for today, so long.

    "Let Go" by Frou Frou

For English, I have a project where we pair up with someone and choose a song. We then dissect the song, identifying the literary terms. Icky sounding, I know. But for our presentation, we have to have some form of performance. Me and my friend chose to do "Let Go" - Frou Frou. It was either between Miley Cyrus (my friends suggestion) or this (my suggestion). So we started.

It took us 2 days to shoot and 2 nights to edit. more info on the vid info. I have the video with me right now, but I'm trying to upload the vid to Youtube. It's frustrating, cuz I'm using a proxy on a school server to get to YouTube, and it's taking forever to upload....FXCK!Stupid computer with the stupid server with the stupid blocking making me stupid use a proxy to get on stupid youtube and not stupid failing the stupid upload for the stupid video!!! GRRAAAAAAAH!!!!

    ...

I finally got to upload the video, course now I'm at home. Anyways, here is the video:

STUPID!!!! (Yes, I'm still stupid sick)

    Hot Days and Icky Sickness

Ugh...I'm not really feeling good today. And it goes like this:

The weekend of April 12-13 was a hot one and I already had a sore throat to add to it. :p Tempuratures quickly rose and so did everything else. Highest was 102 degrees Farenheit. XP. With the days being hot, you'd expect the nights to be hot too, huh? Well, the nights were okay but my mom insisted on leaving the windows slightly open. So I said ok and left them open. And I couldn't sleep. It was too cold, I was always tossing and turning, the light from the sun (or the grayness of the cloudiness) was seeping through the blinds and curtain, and the birds were being loud. This went on for Saturday night and Sunday night. And I think washing those cars in the late afternoon on BOTH days didn't help either.

So now, here I am in computer class, sucking on a small cough drop, typing this post, struggling to hold out till lunch and till I get home. This is my second drop today.

And I confirmed that I have a cold, not the flu thanks to this web page: http://www.drgreene.org/body.cfm?id=21&action=detail&ref=577

The wall of text is rather long and tedious but all you need for the big picture is the purple text. And now, I bid you achoo! (Sorry couldn't resist)

My Info Pt 2 and Guestbooking

Here I am again, this time with the Wii info. Remeber: Super Smash Bros. Brawl in SoCal, like waaaaay South (not close to the border South, just South). Anyways, here they are:

    Brawl Code: 0731-4425-0093
    Wii Code: 0061-5473-3117-8429

Remember, you can leave a comment with your info here (where everyone can see it, like an open forum) or email me at bluetokyodog95@yahoo.com for more privacy.

Now about guestbookies. I've been trying to find one for this blog but all of them're bunk. :p If anyone finds one or can suggest one, leave a comment. (But I guess the comments are like guestbookies, why should I even bother?) Putting that aside, any suggestions will be welcome.

My Info Pt 1 and Grand Chase

I've said in the past that I would post up my info under certain circumstances. Well, heres the first part. (I'm at school again so I have no access to my Wii stuffs).

So what were these circumstances? Well for one, I had to have a new copy of Super smash Bros. Brawl. Yes I do have one now. (And I suck with Link too much to get Toon Link, T____T)

Another one was that I had to get Grand Chase to work. And it did last night, when it finally connected to the login server, which was awesome!!! It's more of a combonation of MapleStory and Bots. It's really fun, and I highly suggest playing this game. XFire also works now, as I can connect to the server now.

    Anyways on with the info!:

    XFire: tokome
    GrandChase: tokome

As you could've figured out by now, Tokome is my Gamer Handle (Unless otherwise said :D)

    Grand Chase and XFire

How's everyone doing today? Well, new news, obviously, mostly about gaming.

I signed up for Grand chase by Entreev. It looks fun, and I downloaded it last night. I wanted to play but my dad's registry checker thingymabob probably made so I can't play. :P

I also signed up for XFire, which I'm pretty new too. I know it's like AIM but for games, and stuff though. I couldn't connect to the server, again because of my dad's registry thing, so I'm going to try again later today. (I'm at school, and I don't wanna put the same title, over and over again.)

    Grand Chase Homepage: grandchase.ntreev.net
    XFire: xfire.com

I'll post up my info for these things later, hopefully when everything works at home. Until then, Ja ne.

    School Post 2

Just a little post today, at school so I have no access to any of my files (like the broken pic in the last post).

Anyways, last night my mom brought up SSBB to Blockbuster (along with TC: SO for return :( ) so we could get a new one. The manager wasn't there, so hopefully, my mom can take it up sometime today. I guess it's gonna go like this: My mom gives them the game, complaining about it's defects, the manager takes it, sees if theres anything wrong, and if there is, we get another copy of the game. So yeah...

Once I have a new copy, I'll give out my Wii number and SSBB Friend Code. If you're in SoCal, chances are I can play with you. Leave a comment on this post for your number (where everyone else can see it) or send me an email (so it's more private). :D Looking forward to playing with you.

(BTW, I play with ROB and Peach, a little heads up)

UPDATE: Fixed last post's picture, added web counter. :D, like this site's ever gonna get hits XP

    Trauma Center: Second Opinion

I've been playing Trauma Center: Second Opinion for Wii for about a week now, and I finished it on Easy! Yay! But there's Normal and Hard mode along with with extra levels on Extreme, and the game is overdue. >.< (Rankings: S-forgot, A-Master Surgeon, B-Specialist, C-Rookie Doctor)

I'll have more later, since this is my grandfather's death anniversary T__T. I can't even spell that right So with that, I bid you adieu.
